TBS6982 PCI-E DVB-S2 Dual Tuner TV card is a PCI Express interface digital satellite TV Tuner card for watching and recording Free to Air satellite TV on desktop PC. With two tuners, the TBS6982 enables you to watch TV channel from one transponder/satellite while recording another channel from another transponder/ satellite at the same time. It's ready with Windows BDA driver and Linux driver up to the latest kernel (Tested on Ubuntu, Fedora, Opensuse and other Linux distributions). It's compatible with many popular applications such as Windows7 Media Center, MediaPortal, DVBlink, DVBDream, DVBViewer, ProgDVB, Skynet, TSreader, XBMC, MythTV,VDRs and more.

TBS6982 PCI-E DVB-S2 Twin Tuner TV card is designed to fulfill the needs of watching/recording multiple satellite TV channels on PC simultaneously. With Single tuner TV card, you're limited to watch one channel at one time only. While with this dual tuner TV card, you can watch two channels or watch one channel and record another channel without interference.

In order to make full use of the recording capability of the TBS6982, you can record two whole TS (Transponder Stream), one of which could contains maximum ten, twelve SD or HD TV channels into your PC hard disk. Which means you will be able to record up to 24 channels with TBS6982 Dual Tuner TV Card at the same time.
